How we handle your information

This notice explains how GRD Technologies Ltd, trading as Atell (“Atell”, “we”, “us”), handles personal data when you visit atell.ie or contact us. It covers this website only. The Atell app has its own privacy information for practices and the people they care for.

Who we are

GRD Technologies Ltd is a company registered in Ireland (company number 822223), with its registered office at 49 Marlton Hall, Wicklow Town, Co. Wicklow, A67 T657. We are the controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@atell.ie.

What this website collects

Very little. This site has no sign-up forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and it doesn’t load fonts or scripts from other companies.

Like any website, the service that hosts it (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details in order to deliver pages to you and protect the site from abuse. This is kept only for as long as needed for those purposes.

When you email us or book a call

If you get in touch, we’ll receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to tell us, such as your practice name or what you’re looking for. We use this only to reply, arrange a call, and follow up about Atell if you’ve asked us to.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our service, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Please don’t send us any client or health information by email.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case our customer terms apply. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell personal data or share it for marketing. We use a small number of trusted providers to run our website and email, who act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Where any of them processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to or ask us to restrict how we use it. To make a request, email hello@atell.ie. We’ll respond within one month.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle personal data, we’ll update this page and the date above.
